Dr. Persinger is a native of West Virginia. He graduated from Lewis County High School in 2001 and then pursued a degree in Biology from Glenville State College. During his college career, Dr. Persinger, was a four year starter for the GSC Pioneers football team and earned all-conference 1st team honors his senior season. After college he attended the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV. During medical school he served on the student government and graduated at the top of his class. He then completed and Orthopedic Surgery residency in Columbus, Ohio at Doctors Hospital. His training involved stents a Ohio State University, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and Grant Trauma Center. Dr. Persinger is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, and WV Orthopedic Society. He is Board Certified through the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Persinger is a general orthopedic surgeon whom performs knee/hip/shoulder replacements, hand surgery, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and ACL reconstruction, as well as fracture surgery for the upper and lower extremities. Dr. Persinger is proud to serve his home state and is always accepting new patients.
